I enacted a scan with Malwarebytes which produced a couple of quarantined items - I deleted these within the program and, thinking that would be the end of the matter, restarted my computer. While the program itself was once a legitimate offering, and the website offered no cause for concern, there were immediate anomalies.During the installation process I received a warning from my antivirus (AVG) which I took as serious enough to immediately cancel said process and delete the offending installer - however, I suspect that by this stage it was too late.įrom there, I began to receive regular pop-up warnings from AVG saying that attempts to connect to a URL (the content of which seemed likely, based on the name, to be pornographic) were being blocked, alongside less regular warnings from Malwarebytes about 'riskware', but otherwise no ill effect. If anyone want's my profiles, just drop me a message. When trying to replace XPadder on my current computer (which no longer functions in Windows 10), I downloaded a program called Pinnacle Game Profiler. Plants VS Zombies, Warhammer 40K Regicide, Test Drive Unlimited, Legacy of Kain games, LoTR BFME2 & RotWK and a tun more. Quake 1,2,3 (&TA), Quake Wars - Enemy Territory. Side Note, I've got a good few profiles for each, including Rayman 2 & 3. You can just load up your favourite browser and hit up YouTube. This is only useful if you're sitting back on the sofa say and your pc/laptop is plugged into the TV. When you're not in a game, it'll automatically map some main keyboard keys & mouse buttons to the controller so you can sit back and use the controller for more casual use. There is also a setting with PGP which I always keep active. And it does also provide you with an image of the mapped keys before the game boots which is handy if you use a controller for a lot of games. So when you're switching profiles, it'll automatically launch the game. For instance, once you've finished mapping your keys for a game, you can link that profile to the game. However PGP does have some advanced features that Xpadder doesn't have.

It's quicker to map keys than PGP and it's got such a simple interface, it's like mapping keys for dummies. First Xpadder then PGP.įor simplicity, I prefer Xpadder. I've used both for a couple of years now.

I know this was originally posted a while ago but I hope I can help.
