

I think there's a great deal of potential for interest in this game, but the price is one people only expect for thoroughly polished AAA games. Their reviews are currently mixed, but considering the high price point they've gotten a decent number of them in just half a day after release.

I think they underestimated how much casual interest there would be. I think their belief, perhaps based on their kickstarter response, was that the game wouldn't hold wide appeal but that those who are interested would be REALLY interested and would be willing to pay a higher price.
